Your giving supports the ministries of Lewis Memorial UMC and helps us live out our mission:

to provide God’s sanctuary at the crossroads and give hope beyond.

Every gift—large or small—helps us strive towards our goal to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. We are #BetterTogether - and your gifts help us to continue proving that.

What do we mean by “gifts” at Lewis Memorial UMC?

Weekly Offering

Every Sunday, we invite the community to join us for worship at 10: 00 am. We provide options to give monetary gifts through the offering plate during our weekly worship service, or anytime by mailing a check, via text or our online giving portal, or through setting up an auto draft. These gifts are what allow us to continue operating and serving our community.

Extra Giving Opportunities

Throughout the year, we have opportunities for additional giving- whether with your gifts, service, or donations. This may include opportunities like:

  • supporting our missionaries in Ecuador and Germany,

  • collecting donations for local organizations like Wellroot,

  • hosting the Shepeard Community Blood Center Bloodmobile,

  • participating in our Rush Hour Prayer ministry on Monday evenings,

  • providing meals for families seeking housing stability through Family Promise,

  • and so much more!

Stay tuned throughout the year for these extra chances to support our community and to make a direct impact on those around us!

Communion Offering

As we come forward for Communion on the first Sunday of each month, we’re invited to reflect on Christ’s love and extend it beyond the table. A special offering at the altar will support ministries serving both local and global needs. Your gifts will help provide food, emergency assistance, and hope through the Pastor’s Discretionary Fund, the Lewis Blessing Box, Columbia County Cares, Compass for Hope, and our missionaries in Ecuador and Germany. Thank you for giving generously and sharing Christ’s love in action.

We understand that financial gifts may not be feasible in every walk of life. If you are looking for other ways to support Lewis Memorial UMC, please consider donating your time and talents. We are always looking for volunteers within our ministries, and would love to talk with you about how you can serve with us. We appreciate your support and prayers!
