Cindy Vinson, Church Administrator

Cindy Vinson would say that serving with the Body of Lewis Memorial United Methodist Church and its leadership is her life's calling. Using her talents and gifts she has served in many areas of Ministry, Mission, and Administration.

Cindy graduated from Kerr Business College and attended Augusta State University concentrating on Early Education, Sociology, and Non-Profit Management.

Cindy is devoted to her family. She enjoys spending time with her husband (Michael) , two grown children (Holly and Josh), their spouses (Dan and Cat), eight grandchildren (Tim, Nate, Ben, Micah Liam, Corbin, Bella, and Anthony), and extended family. Together, they enjoy all sorts of activities but Cindy really looks forward to the weekly movie nights, Grand Tuesdays, and Krav Maga.

Michael, Cindy’s husband also known as Poppa, works for the Columbia County Board of Commissioners for over 20+ years, and in 2023 Michael and Cindy celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary. Michael enjoys spending time with the grand playing fortnight, even though the boys have to “carry” him.

Cindy’s household also includes family with 4 legs. The dogs (Max a German Shepherd and Katey a Shitzu) keep her busy and the cats (Bics (Bull in a China Shoppe), Bowie, Simba, and Rajah) help her to keep her calm. There is never a dull moment!

Cindy has been serving Lewis Memorial United Methodist Church since October 3, 2000.
